Public transport
Transport Canberra runs bus route Rapid 3 with regular services between the Canberra Airport terminal through to the City interchange, Belconnen interchange, Cohen Street interchange to Spence Terminus, seven days a week including public holidays. The Rapid 3 route operates every 15 minutes throughout the day (weekdays) and every 30 minutes on weekends. The trip from Canberra Airport terminal to the City is less than 20 minutes.

MyWay+ is nearly here – get ready to get on board
Transport Canberra’s new ticketing system, MyWay+, will go live on buses and light rail from Wednesday, 27 November 2024. Fares will resume from this day.
To help customers get ready, the new MyWay+ app and online portal are now available. Visit www.transport.act.gov.au for details on how to create a MyWay+ account.
For those who do not want to use the digital features of MyWay+, there will still be a physical MyWay+ travel card available from retail outlets (including concession travel cards), or they can simply use a credit/debit card to tap on and off.
